The American Advertising Federation (AAF) hosts the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) every year in a different city. The year it came to Portland our agency sponsored the awards luncheon. Rather than creating humorous table tents or centerpieces, I thought it would be more fun to eulogize the way advertising creatives really work – slumped over restaurant tables, writing and drawing on napkins.
